Colour Doppler
What is a Colour Doppler?
Color Doppler is a technique in which colors are superimposed on an image of a blood vessel to indicate the speed and direction of blood flow in the vessel. A type of anĀ ultrasound test, the Colour Doppler emits high frequency sounds into the body to create a picture on a monitor.
It is used to determine the presence of blood clots and for detecting blockages in the arteries.
